We offer an array of camps, workshops, and productions for kids to enter and learn about the wonderful world of theatre. With options like Puppetry, Silly Shakespeare, Improv, Radio Drama, Musical Theatre and Play Productions, and everything in between, there is something for everyone entering grades Kindergarten and up!

Summer 2026 registration opens Wed, March 25 at noon! 

 We are so excited for Summer 2026! The schedule is organized week by week, listing each camp with dates, times, & age groups. Our program is tuition-free, but there will be fees for late cancellations and no-shows.
Summer 2026 will run from June 8th through Aug 6th. No camps will be held June 29th - July 3rd in observance of the Fourth of July.

PLEASE NOTE our updated policy for production camps:

Attendance Policy 

  • Students must attend the full day every day. No coming late or leaving early for other activities. 
  • During the first week, the first absence will place a student on probation (the exception is illness, on a case-by-case basis). The second absence will result in the student's role being recast and the forfeiture of their place in the production camp.
  • Absolutely no absences the final week of camp. 

 

Summer 2026 Schedule 

Week 1: June 8-12

CONECTAR, JUAGR, CREAR! CONNECT, PLAY, CREATE! (Spanish/English)

  • Ages 5-7 AND 8 & up / Entering K-12th grades
  • 9am-3pm
  • Led by Latine Artists, participants (divided into appropriate age groups) will explore the creative arts through acting, movement, and music, collaborating on an original piece performed at the end-of-week live showcase on the Egyptian Studios stage!

 Pre-Teen Musical Theatre Production, Olympus, the Greek Rock Musical

  • Ages 8-12 / Entering 3rd-7th grades
  • 9am-3pm
  • In this two-week performance camp experience, performers get a crash course auditioning for and being in a musical theater production! Play a part in, Olympus the Greek Rock Musical, whether in a lead role or working in a chorus, and showcase your acting, singing, and dancing talents in a final live performance on the Egyptian Studios stage! 
  • *Theatre is a team sport! Students of Production camps must attend the full day every day. No coming late or leaving early for other activities. Absences may result in students losing assigned roles and associated late cancellation fees 

Teen Shakespeare Production, King Lear

  • Ages 13 & up / Entering 8th-12th grades
  • 9am-3pm
  • “Speak what we feel, not what we ought to say.” In this two-week performance camp, teens will work with a director and their fellow actors to create characters, learn lines, and rehearse one of The Bard’s classic plays, culminating in a live performance on the Egyptian Studios stage the final Friday of camp!  
  • *Theatre is a team sport! Students of Production camps must attend the full day every day. No coming late or leaving early for other activities. Absences may result in students losing assigned roles and associated late cancellation fees 

Technical Production & Design

  • Ages 13 & up / Entering 8th-12th grades
  • 9am-3pm
  • Students will learn the techniques and theory that go into designing a production, including diving into the world of lighting, sound, and video design. As well as learning the basics of Stage Crew, getting hands on experience working backstage for one of our black box productions.  

Week 2: June 15-19

Workshop Series*

  • Ages 8-12 / Entering 3rd-8th grades
  • 9am-3pm
  • *Monday through Thursday
  • Expand your creativity with this series of four full-day workshops! Campers will rotate through four specialized one-day experiences that explore and build skills in character creation, voice, and movement, crafting, and music production. Included workshops: Puppetry, Stage Crafts, Acting, and Music Video. Parents will receive a link to their students’ music video. 

 Twinkle Stars*

  • Ages 5-7 / Entering K-2nd grades
  • 9am-Noon
  • *Monday through Thursday
  • Playing their way through the beginning elements of theatre with drama, music, dance, and stage crafts, our youngest thespians will show off their skills in an informal classroom showcase on the final afternoon of camp. 

Dungeons & Dragons*

  • Ages 12 & up / Entering 7th-12th grades
  • 9am-3pm
  • *Monday through Thursday
  • D & D is a tabletop role-playing game where students will form an adventuring party to explore a fantasy world together as they embark on epic quests. Students will create their own characters, be challenged to create a character voice, make creative and difficult choices, and work as a team towards a common goal. This camp will end with a final boss battle and a character arc wrap-up. (No live showcase)  

Week 4: July 6-10

Full STEAM Ahead! (Littles)

  • Ages 5-7 / Entering K-2nd grades
  • 9am-1pm
  • Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math combine in this exciting camp focused on exploring our chosen theme. Participants will use the arts and sciences to create an immersive experience through acting, music, movement, crafting, and exploration, culminating in a magical Gallery Walk at the end of the week.

Full STEAM Ahead! (Pre-Teens)

  • Ages 8-12 / Entering 3rd-7th grades
  • 9am-1pm
  • Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math combine in this exciting camp focused on exploring our chosen theme. Participants will use the arts and sciences to create an immersive experience through acting, music, movement, crafting, and exploration, culminating in a magical Gallery Walk at the end of the week. 

Stage Makeup Workshop (Younger)*

  • Ages 8-11 / Entering 3rd-6th
  • 9am-11:30am
  • *Monday through Thursday
  • In this exciting four-day hands-on class, young theatre artists will learn the fundamentals of stage makeup design and application for realistic stage character make-up, including aging, highlight & shadow, and more!

Week 5: July 13-17

Pre-Teen Creative Drama Production, Peter Pan & Wizard of Oz

  • Ages 8-12 / Entering 3rd-7th grades
  • 9am-3pm
  • All the world’s a stage! During this one-week performance camp, explore the world of creative drama and live performance! Campers (split into age-specific groups) will audition for and rehearse a play, learning how to bring a character and story to life in a live performance on the Egyptian Studios stage on the final Friday afternoon!

  • We handpick the best songs for young performers from Shrek Jr. You spend the week rehearsing music and choreography to perform for an end-of-week showcase performance.

  • Ages 8-12 / Entering 3rd-7th grades
  • 9am-3pm
  • “To be or not to be?” In this one-week performance camp, experience acting in a real theater troupe, working with your fellow actors (divided into two groups by age) to create props and characters, learn lines, and rehearse a play that culminates in a live performance on the Egyptian Studios stage the final afternoon of camp!

Radio Play

  • Ages 10 & up / Entering 5th-12th
  • 9am-3pm
  • These campers will get the full creative audio experience. Participants will explore all aspects of bringing a radio play to life- character and sound effects creation, voice acting and recording, editing, and dropping the final product on podcast feeds everywhere.

Week 8: Aug 3-6

Story to Stage (Littles)*

  • Join us as we jump into our favorite children's books and bring them to life through play and performance! Students will explore characterization and storytelling as they creatively play through their stories. This camp will end in a live informal performance the final afternoon.

  • Learn how to put your best food forward at any audition. How to enter a room, clothing choices, writing resumes, cold-reading, approaching material and more will be covered.

Audition Workshop (Older)*

  • Ages 11 & up / Entering 6th-12th grades
  • 12:30pm-3:30pm
  • *Monday through Thursday
  • Learn how to put your best food forward at any audition. How to enter a room, clothing choices, writing resumes, cold-reading, approaching material and more will be covered.

Backstage Skills Workshop*

  • Ages 11 & up / Entering 6th-12th grades
  • 9am-3pm
  • *Monday through Thursday
  • Add tools to your theatrical toolbox! Campers will participate in workshops dedicated to the elements of backstage technical theatre and design, as well as assist our production team running crew for one of our black box showcases!

Our camps sell out quickly and trying to fill cancelled spots with waitlist students when families have already made other plans means many cancelled spots remain unfilled.

Should you need to cancel, we require no less than fourteen days’ notice:

  • Pre-Teen Musical Theatre Production- May 25 by 3pm
  • Teen Shakespeare Production- May 25 by 3pm
  • Pre-Teen Creative Drama Production- June 29 by 3pm
  • Pre-Teen Shakespeare Production- July 13 by 3pm

Cancellations made after the date and time listed above relevant to each camp, including a child being recast due to failure to adhere to the attendance policy.
