Students will learn the fundamentals of theatre and performance through active and engaging theatre games and activities. From learning how to work as an ensemble to effectively using voice and movement to create characters, participants will have fun, gain self-confidence and social skills, and act their little hearts out!

Egyptian YouTheatre is now FREE for all participants!

To ensure that we are serving as many students as possible, each child is permitted to enroll in a maximum of two weekly classes per semester. This includes productions (students can be in the show AND take one other weekly class). The only exception is YTA- students accepted into YTA will be allowed to take two additional classes if desired.

Welcome to Spring 2024

The spring class schedule will be posted below on Thursday, Dec 7th. Registration will open on Thursday, Dec 14th.

Read through our About and Policies pages to understand our process and our policies, and view our summer camp plans on Camps page.

Spring Class Schedule

Spring 2024 looks a little different than previous years! Our spring musical, Leap Day, will take place entirely before our spring classes begin. Leap Day rehearsals run Jan 4-Feb 27, with performances Feb 28-Mar 2. The first week of spring semester classes begin on Mar 4, running for 10 weeks and ending on May 16.

*Participation Policy: (Fall and Spring Classes)

Due to the 10-week nature of our Fall and Spring classes, only 2 absences will be allowed to guarantee participation in the final recording or performance. These 2 absences cannot be within the final 2 weeks of classes. This guarantees that students have adequate time to prepare for their performance by attending regularly.  Students will always be allowed and encouraged to participate during regular class time, regardless of the number of absences they have. For any unplanned conflicts/emergencies that arise, please email/text/call the YouTheatre Administration ASAP. Thank you for helping your child be successful in our tuition-free program!
